This release was a bit of a return to music of an ambient sound for me, after a hiatus from making it for 8 years while I played mostly rock and worked on parenting. In fact, from 2011 to 2015, I didn't make any music. My friend Rob Schafer nicely asked me to compose some soothing music for him in 2015, and soon I was back in it and at it.

An experimental multi-instrumentalist, I specialize in microtonal tunings, field recordings, samples, and strange noises. A lot of my focus has been on long form instrumental drone ambient pieces. I'm a purveyor of the two-note melody.
